Hope the house renovation saga is over, as the last batch of stuff (door locks and handles - by the way, all the styles look THE SAME in my humble eyes. Ms Woodstock: you should have been there with my parents and offer your professional advice....) we need to choose were all chosen yesterday afternoon... As usual (and as expected by me and Dad, haha), Mum is going out again this afternoon, "to change one little thing".
Yesterday we confirmed our choices and the sales suggested us to buy the front door lock on the spot (for security purpose, to keep the keys ourselves and pass the lock itself to Mr Renovation later). Since we have different places to go to, I offered to come around that shop after my other task to buy it.
So I went to the shop again later in the day, I started chatting with the saleslady "sum sum", and I asked, "do other people argue too about these renovation stuff", and she said, "of course la, all the time la, it's best to let one person decide on everything". and she said, "no big deal la, everything is settled la, right?" (She's not Singaporean, the dialogue was in Cantonese, of course.)
She can act as relationship therapist on the spot, I guess. (Ms Woodstock can, too! What you said about "this is like people arguing over wedding preparation stuff" is very good! Thanks!)

I went to meet with the hotel ops this afternoon regarding the design and layout. As one of the VP's said, everyone would have his own preference of the design and program... which was so true... I got to entertain tons of VP's for one area...
So not only your home sweet home, the whole world is like that... hahaha...
If you have another renovation project, you could hire me as I am well trained to entertain different kind of people if you would pay me hourly... hahaha
