The Reader. 讀愛。

讀愛這個譯名很搶眼 (對文藝青年而言!),但其實-

重點是「讀」而不是「愛」(狹義指男女之間的愛情)、
「讀」得最清楚的是「恥」(個人恥辱和國恥兩個層面)。
不是愛。

千萬不要帶著愛情片、更甚帶著「三級性情片」(自作term! 哈哈哈!)的眼光進場,否則會把你悶壞!也是老中青三名演員的演技實力大比拚時間: Kate Winslet 固然精彩 (看罷十分十分後悔,沒到戲院看Kate 和Leonardo 的「浮生路」Revoluntionary Road),少年米高 David Cross(只有18歲的小伙子!)的演出也見層次,眉宇間也跟Ralph Fiennes 出奇相似。

讀愛,你又會讀到甚麼?

So is it a good movie? Heard it's boring and very sad. I may go watch it this weekend.

Sorry, I try not to say whether a movie is good or bad, because watching (and liking) a particular movie really depends on what type of a person you are.

It really is.

And I can imagine, "The Reader" would certainly be considered "boring and very sad" to some people.

我同意妳「讀」到的恥,卻不同意沒有愛。這戲可「讀」層次不只一面呢。
